What does the spending review mean for Esher and Walton?

The 2025 spending review means more spending. More debt. And soon, higher taxes.

Esher and Walton now has a Liberal Democrat MP. But when it comes to holding Labour to account, they’ve too often sided with Labour instead of with residents and local businesses.

On 11 June, the Chancellor announced plans to pump up spending without a clear plan to pay for it. That means one thing: tax rises are coming.

While hardworking families tighten their belts, Labour is racking up bills for tomorrow. And the Liberal Democrats? They’re helping them do it.
